Power of Prayer and Positive Thought

O never star
Was lost; here
We all aspire to heaven and there is heaven
Above us.
If I stoop
Into a dark tremendous sea of cloud
It is but for a time; I press God's lamp
Close to my breast; its splendor soon or late
Will pierce the gloom. I shall emerge some day.
-- Robert Browning

I am a huge believer in the power of prayer and positive thought energies. It is my hope to use this blog to encourage more prayer, more positive thought, more hopeful energy.

Katrina

Bless the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina and their families and loved ones. Give them strength and patience and open their hearts to receive the love and support that is pouring out to them at this time.

And please remember:

It is by giving that we receive.

Please don't forget the pets. Some of the victims can't take their pets to the shelters. These organizations can provide shelter for these animals while their owners are displaced.

The Humane Society of the United States not only helps their companion animals, but farm animals, horses, captive wildlife and zoos and native wildlife.

Noah's Wish is a not-for-profit, animal welfare organization, with a straightforward mission. They exist to keep animals alive during disasters. That's it.

Information on how you can help is on the websites.

Thoughts and prayers. Money, if I had it.

    Blessings on them all.
